The Alqama Education & Welfare Society is running Diamond Girls High School in Bajrang Wadi, Bohra Bagh, Chandanpuri Road,of Malegaon District Nashik ( Maharashtra State ) is having sizeable Muslim Population in the State of Maharashtra. The School is surrounded by various Ghettoes. Most of Girls Students are from poverty stricken & under privileged Muslim Families.

History
In the year
1998 President, Mrs. Zakiya Shaikh Ibrahim & Secretary , Ms. Tayyaba Md.
Shaban of Alqama Education & Welfare Society has decided to start Girls
School and give free of charge education to the poor girls of Malegaon City.
Because all of us Knows that the Malegaon city is a second largest slum area in
Maharashtra State and about 80% of population belongs to the minority community
and about 70% of total population of Malegaon city is below poverty line. In
1999 the society had started a School in a small shopping centre with few
students. After the hard efforts of the society, the society got the permission
of Both, Girls High School and Girls Primary School in the year 2001. In the
year 2002 the society has taken a Building of Malegaon Municipal Co-operation
on rent basis for the School Purpose. The society also distributes uniform
& Notebooks free of charge to the each, and every students every year.
The society
has also organized many programs such as Aids Awareness Programs, Consumer
right awareness programs, Agriculture Awareness Shibir, Free of Charge Health
awareness camp. National Environment Camp. Tree Plantation Program.
The Society
had also Started Creche Centre, Condence course of Education which is
recognized through Maharashtra State Social Welfare Board Mumbai. In the year
2007 Society had also started Swadhar yojna. In this swadhar centre the womens
like widows, orphan, homeless , prostitute , divorced etc. are admitted in this
centre and food, clothing and Shelter are provided to them along with this they
are also given a training’s such as Tailoring, Embroidery, Computer, Jardosy
work, Agarbatti Making, Glass painting etc. So that they can stand on their own
feet and fulfill their daily needs after completion of training.
The Society
had also started Jan Shikshan Sansthan (J.S.S) in Dhule city of Dhule District.
This Jan Shikshan Sansthan is sponsored by ministry of H.R.D. New Delhi. In
this J.S.S. training such as Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Mahendi
designing Electronics, Electricals, Fashion Designing, Jardosy Work, Hand
Embroidery, Beauty Parlour, Screen Printing, Mobile Repairing etc. are given to
the beneficiaries. So that they can generate income with the help of these
above mentioned training courses after completing a training in Jan Shikshan
Sansthan.
In the year
2004 The society had started Diploma in Computer Application Business
Accounting & multilingual D.T.P. of one year which is sponsored by National
Council for Promotion of Urdu Language. New Delhi. Affiliated to DOEACC/ NIELIT
Chandigarh under the Ministry of Information Communication Technology,
Department of Electronic. Govt. of India. This Course Recognizaion ‘O’ Level
(Foundation Level Course) Course Duration 12 Months ( 1 Year )
